The Mentor Girls Softball League is excited to offer a player development program exclusive for the 18u, 14u, and now 12u (still sourcing 10u coaches and volunteers) fastpitch MGSL recreation community. The Mentor Wreckers Fastpitch development program, in partnership with MGSL, provides additional player development offerings throughout the calendar year.
Core principles focus on building confidence, fundamentals, teamwork, and individual player development in a challenging and positive environment. The Wreckers program appeals to families with multi-sport athletes or may have a limited time commitment but interested in additional player development opportunities.
Players have the option to tryout/participate in all or some sessions. Each session is separate, independently fee-based, and may be limited on age and available volunteers/coaches. Session offerings are:

*Rosters are limited. Separate open tryouts may be conducted for both the summer and fall tournament sessions. Division offerings are contingent upon interest levels and volunteers/coaches. Players are encouraged to play up a division and fully challenge their ability.
*ELIGIBILITY: Players must be active participants in MGSL for the summer tournament session. The Fall Ball tournament/league participants must at least have an immediate family member that is an active participant in MGSL/Big Red.
